Forty years ago I was admitted in the hospital for mental and physical exhaustion a lengthy stay. When I asked what will I do there to occupy my time, my doctor threw me a pack of cigarettes and said "Smoke these." I've been smoking cigarettes every day up until six weeks ago. Oh yea I tired quiting numerous times before all for the wrong reasons and always when back to smoking. Than I was asked to attend a Clean and Free meeting. At frist it didn't turn me on, you know diehards die hard, but after I went a couple of time I decided to quit smoking to glorify God. I learn to say "NO" to so called friends who would buy me a cartion of cigaretts and hang them on my front door. I finality I had to stop being thier friend since they wouldn't stop giving me cigarettes and couldn't understand why I wanted to quit. Now the longer I stay away from smoking the closer I am to God and the happier I am
