For starters, my mentor is John Warren and I could not have asked for a more understanding person to look up to. Thanks John. I started this program back in April, and it is now September, because of time contraints and my job. I started out not knowing if I could do this or not, and did not really think of smoking as a sin. But, after a few days into this course, I was convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. It was through the Holy Spirit that I found the strength to quit smoking. At first, it was very tough but I stood strong in God's word and defeated the grip of tobacco. I have now been free from smoking since April 13. I feel much better now and have found a great deal of grace from God. All I can say is, "Don't give up; God will hold you up and help you." It is truly great to see how my example has encouraged my daughter to seek the Lord for her Savior. I feel so blessed for having gone through this course. And it's great to be free.
