To summarize, Jesus Christ, the "son of man", the "son of God's right hand," the "True Vine", communicates life to us through His Word and His Spirit. Simply put, when a man or woman, moved upon by the Holy Spirit, opens the Word of God, the Bible, and begins to seek the Lord in it, the Holy Spirit communicates life through the Word. A man or woman who was formerly dead in sins and trespasses is made alive through the power of God's Word, as applied by God's Spirit.

This is always the means that God uses to give life. It has happened this way since the beginning of time. Even if we examine the story of creation in Genesis 1, we find these words in verses 2 and 3:
