The Lord's Table II Testimony: Tara

I enjoy the freedom found in fasting. I get to take my mind off of trying to not overeat and put it on other things. The Lord showed me areas of my life that I need to chance. I am humbled by who I am and in awe of who God is. The biggest challenge to the fast was found at the end. I broke the fast on one occasion. Both my mentor and my husband reproved me and that was just what I needed. Turning away from my sin and back to the fast was hard, but I know now that I need to work on is having true repentance.
