It's been awesome to feast on His word and to apply it. All the teaching is very practical and exhorts us to apply what we learn. I loved it. It's been great. The last few days were and still are a heavy time of temptation, real warfare, for me, not to eat but other sin and I have taken a pounding. However, I have developed a closer walk with God, which has been lifesaving in this time of trial. I know He loves me and has granted me repentance and will strengthen me when I call out to Him. This whole experience makes me see how helpless I am without God. I am in dire need of Him every second of the day. I guess before I thought it was like filling a car with petrol (gas) and you came back for more but no, He is the very engine, He is the car! It's a constant relationship 24:7 that I need to have and a constant relying on Him. I lost 24 pounds.
