Overall my fasting experience was pretty good. Other than the headaches the first four days which made it hard to concentrate it was good.
Benefits: I am more in the word than I was before and realize how important it is to pray to Him constantly. Loosing 11 pounds was also an extra bonus-I am only 3 pounds away from my goal Having a mentor that reads your lessons and encourages you daily-Thank-you so much for all you did (more than you know)
Challenges: Finding the time alone to study the word of God and this lesson without being disturbed by my four children. Cooking for my family (my husband was a big help he also cooked some nights). Having headaches the first four days and lack of energy up to day nine. I no longer take food for granted but have more of a thankful heart. I learned so much about being tempted and about the armour of God. God also opened my eyes to other areas I needed to work on also.
