I have been richly blessed and forever life changed to the glory of God. I could not have experienced such rich teaching and blessings without fasting and spending time daily in the Word and prayer. Fasting in Phase II provided an opportunity for God to move knowledge I had known in my head to truths of the Lord that I feel in my heart. I better understand God's sovereignty and love and His command for me to pray continuously. God showed me my pride and is helping me to turn it into a humble heart. The Lord led me through extreme spiritual highs and lows in the same day to grow my faith. At low points I was flat on my face before the Lord relying on Him to give me the strength for each step and for the words to say. Another challenge was telling my husband that I wanted to fast for 20 days. I was sure that he wouldn't allow me to do it, but miraculously he supported me. I was also physically very cold the entire fast. The Lord freed me of 12 pounds of burden from my gluttony.
