16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect[a] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

This is starting to get good, isn't it? Look at the hope we have for real
change, as we focus on the glory of God. According to the above passage, as we
behold the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed into the same image?that
is, into Christ-likeness. As our motive becomes the glory of God, we are
transformed!

Finally, let us see what the glory of God really is. The glory of God is
multi-faceted and difficult to reduce to words, but God has not left us in the
dark. Notice this passage of Scripture:
1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
