I grew up in a mortal home not a christian home. My parents were wonderful parents but we didn't go to church very often. I would hit and miss church with friends, but when I was around 21 a friend of mine ask me to come to church with her. during this time I was enjoying the life of going to night clubs, drinking, smoking and doing what suited me. But for some reason I always felt empty and that something was missing in my life but I didn't know what it was. I went to church and the preacher just drew me in. I knew I wanted and needed what he was talking about. I needed Jesus. I gave my life to Jesus that day. I can't say I lived happily everafter but as the years have gone by the Lord has been there. I have been thru many valleys but the Lord has also taken me to the mountain tops. The has blessed me so much and I can't image living without Him. Serving the Lord is an everyday walk. I still stumble because of the flesh but He is loving and forgiving. I pray daily that I can touch the lives of others and that Jesus light always shines thru me.
