Welcome to the New Wine Mentorship course.
We are so glad you're here with us, and proceeding on to a deeper and more thorough study of freedom from drinking and drugs biblically, as well as a tool to help you help others to get rid of drunkenness as well.
This 123-Day Course is designed to instruct you, Friend, in how to assist others in their pursuit of freedom from drinking and drugs. It is a very thorough course on biblical change in the area of getting rid of drunkenness. If, after completing 28 days of this course, it is your desire to work with Setting Captives Free then please apply to be an Apprentice Mentor. If you are accepted as an apprentice mentor you will use the knowledge you acquire here in mentoring students and you will continue on through the rest of the mentorship course until you've completed all 123 lessons. Once you complete the entire mentorship course, you will be certified as a "Setting Captives Free Biblical Counselor" and may assist with other ministry needs, as the Lord leads you.
Friend, we want to address the issue of sexual purity, because it profoundly affects our Christian lives - as well as our ability to minister effectively. Setting Captives Free requires that all mentors in every course live in the freedom of sexual purity - both in thought and action. Specifically, we mean that all mentors must be free from any involvement in pornography or sexual immorality. If you are involved in any type of sexual sin, please consider taking the Setting Captives Free--The Way of Purity course (pornography, sexual immorality) or the Door of Hope Course (homosexuality) and find freedom in Christ before continuing on in this mentorship course. In addition, we require that mentors be free from all types of substance abuse. If you struggle in any area of habitual sin, please consider taking New Wine (for alcohol, drugs, or painkillers) or Breath of Life (for smoking). Thank you.
Note: Finally, we respect your right to believe as you choose, but those in the following religions are not allowed to apply for Mentorship: Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholics, Christian Scientists, 7th day Adventists, United Church of God (UCG), or Unitarians. Also, female pastors will be considered on an individual basis. Why no Catholic mentors? Click here.
