I have been caught in the sin of gratifying my flesh since I was a child. It went away for a while when I gave my heart to the Lord, BUT I didn't really deal with the lust of flesh. I was caught in the trap and never ever thought I would get out of it. I gave up all hope of ever being free from this aweful web of sin. I hid it and did not tell anyone. I did not bring it to the light for fear that everyone would find out. This is one of the lies of the devil to keep a hold on you and keep you from bringing it to the light and speaking the truth. Thank God that the "truth sets us free." When we confess, He forgives us and restores us to a right relationship with Him. I am thankful for "Setting Captives Free." This course helped me to see who I really was and the need to confess and repent of watching porn and all the other things that come along with lust and to gratifying the flesh. I praise the Lord and give Him all the glory for this wonderful freedom.
