My mentor is Pat Gause. I got caught in the web of Internet pornography, which really messed up my life. I hurt my mind, potential, soul and the Lord, most of all. I had struggled long and hard with it, to no avail, until I came to Setting Captives Free. I know now that God is stronger than any of the evil snares of this world. Through the advice of this course and God's grace, I seem to be winning the victory over porn. The large foothold it had over me has lifted, and I have become much stronger, spiritually. Now I take in God's word to renew my mind in the word and keep growing spiritually, as I know this is my defense against sin. Temptation has largly left me, compared to the way it once was. Setting Captives Free taught me biblical truths to help set me free, and it gave me a chance to truly reflect on my life. I know it is only God's grace and love that sets us free and gives us peace. God is truly in this ministry to bring souls to Christ and set the captives free. Take the course and grow in his grace and pray, and you will feel his presence in this ministry. May his grace set you free, too.
