Way of Purity Testimony: Naomi

My mentor is Gail. I've had been involved in sexual impurity for eight years, even though I am very young. I did not think I would ever be completely free from sexual impurity. When I returned from a mission trip and went through some hard times, I reverted back to sexual impurity. It was at this time I realized something had to change, or I would be enslaved again.

I randomly found Setting Captives Free on another Christian organization's website. God used Setting Captives Free to completely remove any hint of sexual impurity in my life. I learned how to daily renew my relationship with God and saw how my sin had no power under the authority of Christ. The real turning point came for me when I realized that sin does not need to be in my life forever. I know that I share Christ's identity and His death is more powerful than any sin. I am so glad that I can now daily draw from the well of living water and turn away from the nasty, unsatisfying well of sin. God has given me freedom and the grace to have the strength to follow Him, instead of giving in to temptation.

Thank you, Lord, for what you have done in my life. As I look forward to a life of ministry, I am glad to know that sexual impurity will never again have a hold on me because the Lord is now center of my life. I have joy and peace because the Lord has done this great work in me.
