Resources for Pastors and Leaders

Greetings, and welcome to the Setting Captives Free Pastors and Church leaders page. We have several resources listed below specifically designed for you, so please look around and see if we can assist in your role as pastor/shepherd to the flock God has called you to lead.

We feel strongly that the local church is the instrument through which God has chosen to do His work of converting sinners, establishing saints, and manifesting His presence in the world today. We have purposely designed our resources to assist the local church in fulfilling this ministry.

As you know, one of the truths taught in God’s Word is daily accountability (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Hebrews 3:13), and yet it is difficult for pastors/leaders to provide this type of daily ministry due to many factors. At Setting Captives Free we have intentionally designed our programs to assist you in this much needed aspect of church life. For instance, anyone in your church body who enrolls in one of our free courses can copy their spouse, you or another leader/representative of your church (simply by adding your email address in at the appropriate place in their lessons) so that you or those you select in your place will receive daily progress reports and answers to the course questions. This accountability has proven to be very effective in helping many people to learn and apply truth in their lives.

Now, here are the resources designed specifically to help you in the care and feeding of your flock:

1. If you wish to examine any of our courses you may do so in their entirety at no cost, and without enrolling. Simply go to the Setting Captives Free homepage, select the course you would like to examine, and enter the following login information (this login IS case sensitive and works on every course):

   Please remember that we see the teaching of " accountability to Biblical truth " as an important factor in men and women finding freedom from habitual sin, so we request that you do not give out this login information to those who may need to take our courses. In other words, if someone needs to find freedom it will be important that they actually enroll in the course, receive the time and help of a mentor, and remain accountable for the application of the truths they will learn. This login information is for your benefit only.



2. The links below are brief summaries of the Setting Captives Free--The Way of Purity course, provided freely as a reminder of the truths taught throughout the course. Many students like to print out these reminders as they come to them in the course and keep them handy for further review. Please remember these reminders are only for The Way of Purity course (for freedom from pornography and sexual impurity) and not for any of the other courses.
